is an investigative documentary that explores ten countries and territories in East, Central and South Asia and the United States while examining the immediate results and future implications of China’s international ascension in the context of American economic decline. The film asks if this rising China exhibits any tendencies or warning signs of hegemony or potential empire. The film concludes that China, on its way to becoming a super-power, could possibly evolve into some form of modern empire. However, whether this represents a threat or opportunity is determined ultimately by our worldview as individuals. Scheduled for release in 2010.
